History
United Cleaning Services is a privately owned and operated company that began in Auckland in 1959 as a small family-run operation, set up to provide a professional service for busy businesses.
Their attitude, hard work and attention to detail saw growth across the metropolitan area over the next 25 years. When the original owners sold out to the present management in the early 1980s, United Cleaning Services had established an excellent reputation among its clients, which has become the cornerstone of the business today.
Over the next 25 years, the company extended its reach to Hamilton, as well as matching the expansion of Auckland. Right from the early days, significant importance has been placed on training and staff well-being, along with investment in the latest equipment.
United Cleaning Services is a major supporter of the Building Service Contractors of New Zealand Industry Training programme, actively encouraging all staff to achieve a National Certificate in cleaning and caretaking. Our senior management know the business inside out and have had no hesitation in rolling up their sleeves and joining their cleaning staff.

All contracts receive the same level of ISO9002 Quality Assurance certified service and with the utmost discretion and security. We’re audited twice a year and require contracts to undergo a formal Quality Assurance Audit on site every month.
